I remember the day I painted this. The plumber came that day so I was without water so I couldn't paint cause I couldn't clean my brushes. I didn't have any other pieces of wood prepped to draw on, so I just sat there drawing more figures and adding more things.

This painting has a few influences. The first is being back in Oakland. There's a spike in crime, and around this time we found out kids were mugging old people around our neighborhood. The other thing was that we had just seen Old Boy for the first time, and there was fight scene in it were this dude raged on like 20 attackers. It was a pretty sweet scene. And I don't usually like fight scenes.
