Oakland, Los Angeles
Our friend Jane came in from England to stay in Oakland for April. We think she had a good time. She was amazed by the size of our refrigerator.

Marci, Jane and I drove to LA for a weekend to see shows:
Group show at GR2 including Jack, Brendan's show at Richard Heller, the last day of the Richard Colman show were the highlights. Marci's mom lent us her new Buick (which has great mileage). We made it to the Grape Vine on one tank of gas, but forgot to fill up, so this is the shot of the Buick after we coast about 18 miles down a hill and into a gas station.
Jane and I had to push the gas station to the pump for the last 20 yards.

Our friend Neil was in the area and came by for a short visit.He gave me a panel which turned into this painting.

San Francisco: Opening at GRSF.
I made a cake for the openining.
This photo was shot right before Marci and I got hit by another car that ran a red light.I got frosting on myself but everything else was okay. The show was my first solo show in San Francisco so I was already a bit nervous.

I got this drink at some produce market cause I thought it looked pretty sweet. Not so sweet to drink, though. I never really liked coconut juice.

Marci and I went to the Oakland Zoo. Marci is on a family pass so she can take 2 people at a time. The Oakland Zoo's not that bad.The sky-tram takes you right over the Lion and Tiger pits.
