Chinatown
March 2005
In March, Ogi was leaving for Japan, so right before he did that he took a trip down south to visit us in LA. These photos are when we went and visited Brendan's studio while also trying to see galleries in Chinatown. Had more photos from Ogi's stay, but I don't really know where I put them.
Brendan was working towards his solo show at Junc. If you had the chance to see it, then you saw a really good show.
Chinatown is sort of dead.

San Diego
May 2005
In May, Marci and I went down to visit my parents and go to the zoo for the day. It was pretty sweet. I've been to a lot of Zoos, but nothing really compares to San Diego's. I'd like to see a manatee, though. But I the only place I know they have them is Vancouver.
okapis
Uh. The deers in the exhibit next to the okapis were really busy licking each other's ass-holes.
hippo
Before we got in, I was like, "Hey, a hippo". but all you can see from above the water is his back. But Marci was like, "dude, that's a rock." It does kind of look like a rock, even when you see it face front.
panda
We came during feeding time. She had to forage for her food.
polar bear
When we first got in to see the polar bears, we noticed there's a lot of shredded carrots. Then we saw one of them back their ass up to the water and crap all orange.

July
Our shelving unit. My parents got it for me when we move down south. We have a pretty small place, so it frees up a lot of room.
Josephine is one of our turtles. She's a bit crazy, and always seems to be trying to dig herself out of the tank.
