Sorry, some of these pictures might be out of order. Marci and I still use disposable cameras, so between October and now we've had 3 disposable cameras. We did buy a nice fancy digital camera, but Marci wanted to return it for a nice fancier digital camera. So yeah. We haven't yet figured what type of fancy digital to get. Our friend tells us we'll soon not have actual photo around but a lot of digital files.
Doing stuff in LA, you don't really take very many pictures. First off I never bumped into anyone like I do in Oakland. Like I see Moses every week walking pass my window on his way to work, and Derek sometimes walks pass my house cause his work is on the same block. Also for the most part LA was pretty ugly and in that one year in LA I've only had one regret in finding something I should have take a picture of (which was dead).

San Diego: November 2005

These were taken in Balboa Park. That day we went to the Museum of Man, which I liked when I was a kid, but isn't really something you should go to unless you're easily amused like a 10 year old from 1989. You can however get freshly made tortillas for 50c there.

This is from the Whaley House, which is the most haunted house in America according to some television show. They used to stage plays on this small set that looks like it could hold two people or maybe four small children.

Los Angeles: November/December (?) 2005

This is David at his opening. He was in a show at some warehouse near Amoeba. I hear it flooded a few days later.

San Francisco: February 2006

Dawn and Adam at Marci and Alika's show at Receiver.
Go here if you want to see more from the show.

Knewman of course.

February, 2006

On the drive up to Portland we saw Mt. Shasta. But we were going at night so we just saw a dark and lonely mountain. My friend Jacob took this shot on his trip down to the bay and gave me the photo when I saw him in Portland.

Brendan and Evah on the way to the GR Issue Release Party from a show on Van Ness. Marci was getting coffee somewhere. Maybe in that donut shop. I don't know.
I watched Transformer the Movie at the Release Party and it was the first time I saw the holograms on my Cal State ID.

Marci was in a group show at Junc in LA. These are pictures from the opening. There's a lot of pictures of Jack cause he came at 8 and everyone else decided to come at 9. That and Jack is seriously really photogenic.

marci with Jack.

me with Jack.

Jack with Zach.

Marci with her paintings.

Our friend Michael came. He, Jimmy and Chris Hedstrom were the closest thing to neighbors when we lived in West LA cause they lived only 2 miles away in Palms.

Manny came. He's in LA for a few months.

Carolline, her friend Lana, and Marci. We stayed at Carolline for our one day in LA. We were going to stay with her again, but then we decided to go back to Oakland after the opening.

Marci, Ursula, an Clare. Ursula and Marci used to go to high school together, I went to Summer camp with Ursula at Calarts, Manny used to wait tables at a restaurant they used to go to in San Jose, and uh, Jack went to college with her in Providence. Pretty sweet.

When I burn pictures, it's usually on the cats.

San Francisco: March 2006

When I used to work off of Haight with Dennis we used to go to Cala Foods and get these drumsticks along with fries. I got a lot of weird looks in the park for having this.

Derek and Tommy eating fried chicken when they're not suppose to be.

I made this photo black and white cause the flash sort of killed it. He sort of matches Morrissey in the back.
