June 2004:

!!BRISTOL, UK!!

--------------------------------------------------

We stayed in this place called Weston-Super-Mare. It's a seaside town in the West Country of England. That Steven Morrisey song, "Everyday is Like Sunday" reminds me of it everytime I play it. I never seen so much white trash in my life. Everyone was either drunk or knocked up. In the short time we were there we helped out one drunk, two drunks sang to us, saw like 3 deformed people, and so many pregnant ladies with tube tops and mini's that there was no reason to count. It was pretty sweet.

Simon, Marci and I. This is sort of what you look like after 30 hours of traveling with little sleep. Not Sweet. Simon has the coolest voice in the entire world. He should narrate for books on tapes.

Day trip to London.

We Went to London on one of the days. Marci and I at Buckingham Palace. London is just like any other large international city.

We bump into friends from Oakland at the Tate Modern. It was pretty weird. I was sitting down, and I was looking at folks. Then I see these people coming down the ramp, and I was like, "That girl looks like Caitlin." And yeah. It was. Pretty exciting story, eh?

We went on a ghost tour of London. Lots of Tourist Shots.

At the Bristol Zoo.

The Bristol Zoo is sweet. Ben worked there so he took us there for free. Next to the San Diego Zoo it was probably the best zoo I've been to a while. They had a calibara (SP?), the largest rodent in the world, an albino penguin, a miniture hippo, and red pandas. I took their pictures too. I just sort of forgot to scan them.
